Stout fabric was started in 1927 by Harry and Charles Stout. Their father had also been in the textile business as a partner in a high-end print house that still exists today. The Stout brothers formed their company after gaining experience working as sales representatives for another textile distributor. Stout fabrics is still in family hands with four members of the fourth generation now actively involved in the business. Today the Company sells textiles and trimmings sourced from all over the world. Many of their styles and designs are exclusive. They are are represented in showrooms throughout the world as well as in most interior design and architectural firms. Stout fabrics offers a wide variety of top designer fabrics, trimmings & drapery hardware.
